This course designs, writes, and produces an English-language newsletter for the
Department of Foreign Languages called The Foreign Exchange. We produce two issues per semester, and the newsletter contains campus news stories as well as feature articles of interest to NTU students. The course involves intensive writing practice in English as well as the ability to work together as a group. The newsletter also maintains a website in which all the stories are archived. Students will be expected to write stories as well as to help edit the stories of others, to maintain the online blog, to communicate with each other, to design the layout, and, finally, to distribute some 1500 paper copies on campus.
